PrestaShop shows content through hooks — fixed positions such as the product page footer or the site footer. Put the Shopreviews snippet on the hook where you want reviews, through a module that outputs custom HTML or directly in your theme template.
Step by step
- Copy your snippet
Choose a layout, colours and review sources in the widget builder and copy the embed snippet.
- Pick your method
Use a module that outputs custom HTML on a hook, or add the snippet to a template file of your theme, such as
templates/catalog/product.tpl. - Position it
Choose the hook (for example displayFooterProduct for product pages) and adjust the order under Design → Positions if needed.
- Clear the cache
Go to Advanced Parameters → Performance, click Clear cache and check your shop.
Menu names are shown in English; in a translated admin they have the local equivalent.
What the embed snippet looks like
<div data-shopreviews="carousel"
data-lang="en"
data-sources="google,trustpilot,kiyoh"></div>
<script src="https://cdn.shopreviews.com/widget.js" async></script>
Example only: copy your own snippet from the widget builder or your Shopreviews dashboard. It contains your layout, colours, language and review sources.

Where to place the widget
- Product pages — on the displayFooterProduct hook, below the product details.
- Homepage — on a home hook, such as displayHome.
- Every page — a floating popup or badge on the displayFooter hook.
Good to know
- The built-in WYSIWYG editor in CMS pages strips script tags, so the snippet will not survive there.
- Editing theme files? Use a child theme so updates to the parent theme do not overwrite your change.
