Magento 2 can place any CMS block on any page through Content → Widgets. Put the Shopreviews snippet in a block once and decide exactly where it appears: all product pages, the homepage or a specific category.
Step by step
- Copy your snippet
Choose a layout, colours and review sources in the widget builder and copy the embed snippet.
- Create a CMS block
Go to Content → Blocks → Add New Block. Paste the snippet into an HTML Code element (Page Builder) or the HTML editor, and save.
- Place it with a widget
Go to Content → Widgets → Add Widget, choose type CMS Static Block and your theme, add a layout update (for example All Product Pages, container Main Content Area) and select your block.
- Flush the cache
Save the widget and refresh the cache under System → Cache Management.
Menu names are shown in English; in a translated admin they have the local equivalent.
What the embed snippet looks like
<div data-shopreviews="carousel"
data-lang="en"
data-sources="google,trustpilot,kiyoh"></div>
<script src="https://cdn.shopreviews.com/widget.js" async></script>
Example only: copy your own snippet from the widget builder or your Shopreviews dashboard. It contains your layout, colours, language and review sources.
